Rotherham Utd Ladies travelled up to Tranmere hoping to gain there first away points of the season. The young Millers side are renouned for there footballing abilities, but the pitch at Tranmere certainly did not allow for any football to be played from either side. Tranmere scored mid way through the first half with a long range shot that wasnt closed down by the Rotherham midfield. The Millers had a few half chances, with the best lying in the hands of Longstone, who was placed in aone on one with the Tranmere keeper, to only place it wide of the post. 1 v 0 at half time.

The second half started off disasterous  for Rotherham, when in the opening seconds of the game the Millers keeper completely missed a back pass and the ball trickled into the back of the net. The young Millers heads went down immediatley. In Rotherhams attempt to pull back into the game, Tranmere scored their third on the break.
