i would just like to reply to darco (whoever that is). i have just read your comments, the league the girls have gone into is very very different to the one they came out of the girls are very young and this season is going to be very hard. i dont know how long you have been involved in womens football but it is very easy to stand on the side when youre not involved and know whats going wrong! the girls have worked very hard as have bev chippy geoff kaz etc to try and prepare for a tough season . a lot of new girls at training have never been coached before and its a lot to take on board and put into practice. as for managing and coaching not mixing thats ridiculous ask chippy A licence coach and MANAGER AND COACH of premiership teams for the past 9 years I think its time everyone pulled together and tried as hard as poss to get thro this tough time ! keep goin girls and the first points will come. LETS ALL BE POSITIVE !!!  |

My My piece wrote in the guestbook Signed on: Mon 27 Aug 2007 11:14:40 BST never got a comment one way or the other and it reiterates your comments Paul, however I didn’t want to upset anyone on here but I have only one more thing to add, it’s a known fact in football, Managers (Manage) and Coaches (Coach). Mix the two at your peril.  
Admin's Comment: Hi 'Darco'. I hope you dont mind me asking, but do you come and watch us regularly? I definately agree with the comments you previously posted(27th Aug), and we do lack experience at this level. In fact not one of our players has played even one game at this level previously. Our side is very young and 2 of our most experienced players were absent from the first 2 games, and one was absent for the 3rd as well. I feel patience and belief are traits that all the ladies need, and we will soon settle, with the Rotherham we all know returning. Thankyou |

"Hang on in there" as "the tide will turn" I promise you. You have the talent,skill, and knowledge to look after yourselves and "hold your own" in this league, but you ALL must have more confidence in yourselves, individually and more important, collectively.
