W.B.A 2 v 3 RULFC
Rotherham Utd Ladies travelled away to W.B.A Ladies for the second time in 3 weeks, as they meet in the 1/4 finals of the league cup. When they played in January in the league, Rotherham dropped 2 points as they were held to a 2 v 2 draw, but this time Rotherham came out on top with a 2 v 3 victory. Rotherham dominated the first half with some flowing football on all parts of the pitch, but an injury to Wood late in the half, forced manager Paul Durrands into making changes to personal. Rotherham went into half time 2 goals up from striker Davis. The 2nd half was a different story altogether. W.B.A were awarded an extremely questionable penalty only 10secs into the half, causing Rotherham to panic. West Brom scored a second 10 mins later from a corner, which suprisingly allowed Rotherham to start to calm down, and try to play the football they knew they could. Davis scored her hatrick just 5 mins from the end to give Rotherham a victory.
