Opening Fixture – Midland Combination League

The Midland Combination season kicks-off on September 5th, with newcomers Worcester City and Northampton Town meeting.

Worcester were promoted as West Midlands League champions, while Northampton switched over from the South East Combination, to accomodate two sides relegated from the Premier League, whilst none came down to the Midlands Combination.

Loughborough Students return after a year’s absence, beginning at home to Rotherham United. The university side replace Loughborough Dynamo, who were relegated along with Crewe Alexandra.

Sporting Club Albion, runners-up last season, start at home to TNS, Wolves welcome  Radcliffe Olympic and Leafield Athletic host Stoke City.

September 12th
Northampton Town v Wolves
